The Heart of Good Dog and Our “All-Dog” Vision
It all began with a dream—Dr. Patrick and Natalie Singletary envisioned a veterinary practice that truly prioritized people: their team, their clients, and their patients. They set out to create a practice where every client felt heard and valued, where dogs received top-tier medical care, and where the team was empowered and motivated to make a difference every day.
But they didn’t stop there. Their passion led to something even more unique: a dog-only veterinary practice. A place where the focus is on what they love most—dogs. This vision became reality in 2019 with the opening of Good Dog Veterinary Care West Cobb, the first and only all-dog veterinary practice in Georgia.
What started small—just one doctor and a small team—quickly grew into a thriving practice. By 2022, we expanded to a four-doctor team with 25 dedicated professionals. But the journey didn’t end there. We had a bigger dream: to extend the Good Dog experience and provide our exceptional care to even more families and their Good Dogs!
In the summer of 2023, we proudly opened our second location, Good Dog Veterinary Care Smyrna, staying true to the mission and values that made our first location so special. Fast forward almost a year, and our passion for serving the community took us even further—leading to the grand opening of our third location, Good Dog Veterinary Care East Cobb, in August of 2024! We couldn’t be more excited to bring the Good Dog Difference to even more dogs and families in East Cobb and beyond.
Thank you for trusting us with your dog’s care. We’re excited to continue our journey with you, providing compassionate care, expert treatment, and a community where dogs are family!

Our Leadership

Dr. Patrick Singletary, a proud "double dawg," graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He held several leadership roles at UGA, including President of AGR and OTS, and led the Veterinary Business Management Association. He founded Good Dog Veterinary Care with the guidance and expertise of his wife, Natalie Singletary, to provide exceptional care and educate owners on enhancing their dogs' lives. He actively mentors veterinary students, providing them with hands-on training and support as they prepare for their future in veterinary medicine.

As VP of Strategic Operations at Good Dog, Natalie Singletary brings her entrepreneurial vision from her successful career as a Pure Barre studio owner in Atlanta. A Charleston, SC native and proud UGA alum, she opened her first studio the same day Dr. Singletary took the NAVLE, marking the start of their entrepreneurial journey. With expertise in business development and branding, Natalie played a key role in launching Good Dog Veterinary Care in 2019. She transitioned to a full-time role in early 2022, focusing on strategic growth, marketing initiatives, and externship outreach.
