Insight Veterinary Ultrasonography of Georgia:

Good Dog Veterinary Care has partnered with the DVM Team at Insight to be able to offer specialist-level diagnostic imaging services to our patients including echocardiograms and specialist-level diagnostic interpretation for ultrasound and radiology images. These services are performed at Good Dog Veterinary Care by the Insight Team. Insight offers STAT diagnostic imaging which allows the Good Dog Veterinary Care Team to obtain same-day results when needed for critical patients. Veterinary Surgeons of Georgia:

Good Dog Veterinary Care has partnered with Dr. Lockwood from Veterinary Surgeons of Georgia to offer orthopedic surgery in our very own surgical suite. Partnering with Dr. Lockwood gives our patients the best of both worlds as our patients will be under the care of our Good Dog Veterinary Care Team for pre-op and recovery and under the care of a board-certified surgeon for the surgical procedure. Dr. Lockwood has extensive experience in TPLO repairs, fracture repairs, and other orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Many times we are able to schedule these specialist-level procedures within the same week as a diagnosis. Please contact our Welcome Team to schedule this service.

Mirror Image K9 Veterinary Support Visits:

Mirror Image K9 offers professional dog training and structured day camp services with an emphasis on educating humans on their dog’s behavioral cues as part of their training process. We are thrilled to partner with MIK9 to offer “Veterinary Visit Support” for patients who need extra behavioral guidance when they come to our practice for a visit. MIK9’s trainers have a background in the veterinary field and are experienced in handling dogs that are less than thrilled to be at the clinic. The MIK9 Team will meet the patient and client at their appointment to calmly work the patient through their visit and assist in handling the patient for routine medical procedures such as blood draws, urine collection, nail trims, anal gland expressions, vaccine administration, physical exams, radiographs, and catheter placement. MIK9 will teach the patient healthy coping mechanisms for future veterinary visits as well. Ozzie Albies Foundation:

Good Dog Veterinary Care is thrilled to be the official veterinary partner of the Ozzie Albies Foundation. The OAF promotes and facilitates the adoption of shelter pets and strives to be the defender of those who cannot defend themselves. Good Dog Veterinary Care partners with OAF to provide veterinary care to the foster dogs in their care including providing annual exams, spays/neuters, dental care, and any other medical treatment needed. We love seeing these foster dogs find forever homes through the work of the Ozzie Albies Foundation!
